I absolutely hate the acceleration on gravity (if that's the right term), This is what really puts me off about Q4. Really annoying, especially if you're used to the q3 jumping where you think you'd fall down, yet you make the jump. And there's another thing - you still find yourself in situations, jumping from x to y, where you think you've just landed the jump and then you fall straight down. Otherwise the game is fast when strafejumping, but that speed makes the game feel very heavy(for me) when walking or dodging. Most Q4 maps feel like rat-runs, and it's mostly because the engine has such poor performance that mappers are forced to keep visibility low and rooms well divided with teleporters and right angled passageways :/

The patch speeds up the game and they spit out a bunch of tiny, cramped maps, because god forbid you get to strafe-jump more than three times.Д®ven though, as Bandit says, id changed the player speed after those maps were created, I still think those maps are way too cramped and small even for Q4 1.2.
